Every year we try to map out who is working creatively.
Various studios, beautiful spaces and great locations open their doors for a weekend full of art and creativity!
Through the retrospective exhibition in 't Werkhuys, where a work by each participant hangs, visitors can plan their own route and explore Borgerhout using a brochure with a map.

This year BorgerhArt will take place from Friday 18-09-2026 till Sunday 20-09-2026
To participate you must have a studio, place of residence or a link with Borgerhout.
Creative organizations can also register to show what they have on their programme.
We would like to offer a wide range to visitors and give them a taste of everything that is culturally alive in Borgerhout. However, the geographical lines of our district do not perfectly match our admission requirements. We are very open-minded and want to keep it accessible.
Everyone can and may participate if you are creative and can show a beautiful bouquet of works.
It is important that you show what world you are in and how you work. Tell your story and show your passion for what you are doing.
If you do not have a studio or are unable to open your space or residence to the public, we will find a place for you where you can install a temporary studio or workshop during the weekend. Registration is 35 euros.
